We welcomed a new family member today, when my cousin gave birth to her first child. As I've mentioned before, Jennifer is very fascinated with babies.
As we were leaving school today, she had to tell everyone that Kristi was at the hospital having a baby. She followed that by saying, "Tomorrow Abigayle come to my house and play and eat candy!"
Obviously, Jennifer isn't in the know on baby development, but I'm hoping that the new little one will help teach her a little to prepare her for the day that Daddy Nick and I decide to have a baby. She is sooooo ready to have a younger sibling. She tells her teacher almost everyday that I'm having a baby....I'm not pregnant!
I'll have to warn my cousin that Jennifer does think that Abigayle is going to come to our house. She told me tonight that she was going to sleep in a cradle in her room. Guess it's time for me to really get serious about having another baby. Otherwise, Jennifer may be trying to sneak Abigayle out of her house. :-)
